On 03/11/2011, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 357/QD-TTg on emulation flag of the Government in 2010 to 05 groups of Vietnam Maritime Corporation, Ministry of Transport including Ocean Shipping Company Vietnam (VOSCO). Government's Emulation Flag awarded for completed units outstanding, comprehensive mission, led by the patriotic movement of the maritime industry of Vietnam in 2010.

In this context, 2010 was a difficult year for the maritime industry, the emulation VOSCO was awarded the Chinese Government expressed encouragement and recognition of the collective efforts of the staff, officers boats member company to complete its production targets for 2010, contribute to the stability and development of the industry. Compared to the targets adopted at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2010, the main targets are reached, in which the total revenue of 2905 billion, up 20.09 percent of the plan (up 486 billion), profit before Tax 134.16 billion, up 25.09% compared to the plan. During the year, the strategy development and rejuvenation of the fleet, the company has invested 02 bulk carriers is VOSCO SKY 52,520 DWT built in 2001 in Japan, ship VOSCO UNITY 53,552 DWT built in 2004 in Japan and delivery of new vessels BLUE STAR 22,704 DWT Bach Dang at IT Corporation, bringing the total fleet tonnage to 610,835 tons.

2011, VOSCO will continue to strive further to the Company to continue stable and sustainable development, worthy of the flag of the maritime industry in Vietnam.
